Before visiting Noosa North Shore, we highly recommend reviewing the permits you may need to camp and/or drive in the area.
Driving
Driving is permitted on some beaches in the Cooloola and K’gari recreational areas, but a vehicle access permit is required. To get more details on the VAP and to purchase a permit visit the Queensland Government website.
Camping
If you plan to camp in the Cooloola recreational area, you will need to purchase both a vehicle access permit and pay the fees for a camping permit before you arrive.
Capacity is limited, so we highly suggest booking your campsite early to avoid disappointment during peak periods. Rangers may visit camps during the day to check permits.
