Resident Landowners
Persons who are landowners who reside on the North Shore all year round.
Non-Resident Landowners
Persons who own land on the North Shore and pay rates to the Noosa Council whose permanent address is elsewhere (includes holiday home owners).
Permanent Rental Residents
Persons who rent premises and reside on the Noosa North Shore all year round.
This application should also be used by children of Resident Landowners.
North Shore Workers
Contract or fixed-term employees who are employed on an ongoing daily basis on the Noosa North Shore.
Frequent Users
All other users who do not fufill any of the other concession card criteria.
Suitable for frequent visitors to the region and buinesses who have work vehicles travelling to the North Shore.
Step-By-Step Guide
We have five different account options based on eligibility set by the Noosa Shire Council. If you are not sure which concession card is right for you, we suggest reviewing our Terms and Conditions or contacting us for further guidance.
Once you know which card type is right for you, start your application using the related button above. This will take you to our ticketing portal and to the corresponding application fee.
Please note, each button starts a different application process so please make sure to use the correct one for your eligibility. A unique application is required for every user/eligible member of the household.
You will need to pay an application fee at the start of the process, this fee covers the admin costs associated with creating your concession card and account.
Please note, you will need to pay the application fee again if you lose your card and need a replacement created.
Once you have added the application fee to your cart, proceed to the checkout process and add your billing details.
IMPORTANT: To create your online account which includes your membership details and gives you the ability to top up online, you will need to tick the ‘Create an account?’ box located under the Billing Details section. If you complete the application fee transaction without creating an account, you will need to contact our team and ask for assistance with getting access to your online account.
Once you have added your billing details, selected the create an account option, and added your credit card/debit card details, you can place your order.
Once your transaction is complete, you should receive two emails from Noosa North Shore Ferries. One confirms the payment of the application fee, and another with a link to set your password for your account. If you do not receive the email to set your password, please contact us, and our team can help you access your account.
After creating your password and finishing setting up your account, you will receive an email in the next 1-3 business days from our team with an invitation to submit the necessary information to finish your application.
Based on which concession card type you have applied for, our team will email you a link to an application form. We suggest collecting the relevant information/supporting documentation that you will need to complete the form with before our team email you with the link.
- For the resident landowner and non-resident landowner application forms, you will need to upload a copy of your recent Noosa Council Rates Notice, your Drivers License, your current Concession Pass, and a Passport-style photograph to be printed on your Concession Card.
- For the permanent rental residents application form, you will need to upload evidence of your rental agreement, your Drivers License, your current Concession Pass, and a Passport-style photograph to be printed on your Concession Card. Children of Resident Landowners should also use this form, and in place of uploading a rental agreement, should upload a copy of their parents Noosa Council Rates Notice.
- For the North Shore Workers application form, you will need to upload a signed letter of employment from a Noosa North Shore business employer/manager, your current Concession Pass, and a Passport-style photograph to be printed on your Concession Card.
- For the Frequent User application form for businesses, you will need to provide the registration numbers of the vehicles that will each need their own cards.
Once the form has been completed, you will recieve further communication from our team that your application has been successful, or if there are any issues with the application information.
Once you have received confirmation that your application form has been reviewed and your eligibility has been confirmed, you can start using your Noosa North Shore Concession Card and start adding credit to your account.
Once your application has been confirmed, you can also collect your physical concession card from our office located at the ferry.
